Help for Heroes at Kingswood Golf and Country Club 2011

Once again Kingswood hosted the Tartan Ball in aid of Help for Heroes, Wendy and Mike White  (the organisers of the event) have supported the cause since  last years ball . Since then they have raised £40.000 . Fantastic. The Ball this year raised a fourth £7000 . iGROOVER are proud to say that we helped raise £500 of that on the night . The night started with drinks reception and photo shoot with us, followed by the traditional haggis ceremony. After a fantastic  dinner and service by the Kingswood staff, Mike White Former (Captain of Kingswood) set about the auction and to be honest he got a better result then some professionals that I have worked with. The night was then topped with some great dancing. Fantastic night congrats to all. Another fantastic night at Epsom playhouse with the dynamic Realistic Rock crew as they showed off their stunning student development skills. These guys are something else !! The show case was the climax of this terms courses that turned out to be an inspiring show that gavel  young and old musician across the board the chance to be heard and seen by over 400 people in the hot crowded audience.

The Tartan Ball at Kingswood Golf and country Club Surrey In aid of Help for Heroes – Headley Court

The Tartan Ball is an annual event that is produced and organized by Wendy and Mike White ( Mike being the captain of Kingswood Golf Club ). Wendy’s  events company chooses a different charity to support  each year. The setting for the evening was beautiful and kingswood staff are by far the most polite and courteous people I have worked with for a long time. They really integrated themselves into the event. Burns night was started by Piper Chris leading the the way for the haggis . Then a great performance of one of burns poems relating to the haggis.

Dinner was perfection (I can well recommend the food at kingswood anyone thinking about a wedding reception then you need to look at kingswood, or even just a good night out). have a look at their website

The evening raised over 10,000 of much needed money for the charity via auction. Well done Wendy.

Chris Valentine plays for Camden Calling

Stockwell’s Cavendish arms was the host , for the final time, of south London’s home of www.camdencalling.org. live shows.

Camden calling is an support foundation set up to help London’s homeless and vulnerable people access arts and music.

Here is there mission statement

To improve the access homeless and vulnerable groups of people have to mainstream music / arts and popular culture; To create opportunities for our members to develop friendships, confidence, working relationships & transferable skills, engendering a sense of belonging. Camden Calling is a democratic organization and member volunteers will shape the direction in which we grow. Having a say into the ways in which our profits are invested in them. Camden Calling is a project founded on the principles of empowerment and aspiration for change”

Team Leader and originator , Alexis Brooks, talked with great passion of the calling’s statement to a very supportive audience and group of Artist, who had given their time freely, to support the cause. Also it was very clear that there was a lot of regrets about leaving the Cavendish arms.

Izabela Hannah Winter Ball for CHASE HOSPICE With Matthew Cutler, Danny Dyer, Max Clifford and Adrian Mills

Matthew Cutler Danny Dyer, Adrian Mills (TV PRESENTER) and Max Clifford, Joined Izabela Hannah in a Most spectacular night of fund raising in aid of Chase hospice Guilford. Izabele holds these event twice a year one in the summer and the other around this time of the year. Each event gets bigger and better then the previous.

The glam of the new  Grandstand at Epsom Downs made it even more appealing to the guests, and the food service, lead by Anna, was fantastic, (can well recommend it for weddings and functions).The evening started with a Great speech from Max Clifford followed by a tear jerking film about the People that Chase care for. The Guest stayed silent through the film as they absorbed the reality of the role that Chase up hold in our community.  After this  Danny Dyers and Adrian Mills Who whipped  the guests into a fantastic display of charitable donations with Izabela displaying the goods ( not her goods I might add ) and modeling some of the sportswear.

What was to come was so amazing, Matthew Cutler and Izabela dancing together was like !!!!! well !!!! just speechless, people just stood in amazement as these two beautiful dancers gave us a mind blowing display, enhanced by Izabela’s personal dance teams and Students.

Kings College at the Dorchester

The Dorchester Hotel Park lane was the the venue for Kings College Christmas Ball this year. It was lavish everything you could imagine for a fantastic night out. This is a charity ball that raises money for scholarships to this fantastic school. Each year Friends and parents come together to help students that need that chance in life. Blood sucking event was the held by all at the All Hallows Ball Denbies vineyard   Dorking.
